HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1963-045Resolution 63 45 VILLAGE OF PLYMOVTH RESMUTION ADDING CERTAIN STETS AND 771M CERUIR STREETS TO AND MM THE 190 9TEW TOWYMM-7 PROGRAM Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of thr Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on tht 'ath day of July, 1963. The following members were present: .Trustees 01.4"kilon," Tart Nyor Koefem, and the following members were absent: Trustees Cvrti,% and Trustee Tuf introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption; wHSRHAS, there has coon included in the 1963 Street Improvement Program the grading, base work and bituminous surfacing of Ives Lane from the Southwest corner of Lot 14, Block 7, Beacon Heights Second Addition to the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Bloctc 6, Beacon Hoights Second Addition and, WHEREAS, it is doomed to be necessary and desirable that this portion of the 1953 Street Improve"nt Program be deleted from said program and, WHEREAS, it is deemed to be necesuary and desirable that the following streets be added to the 1963 Stroo t Improvement Program, to -wit. Street 24th Avenue North 25th Avenue North From State Highway 101 State Highway 191 To A point 160 feet North of 28th Avenue North A point 160 feet East of 24th Avenue North Street Pine Circle From 24th Avenue North To The South line of Lot 6, Block 4, Cross First Addn. Magnolia Lane County Road Na. 15 375 feet South of 8th Avenue North and, WHEREAS, the addition of said streets to the 1563 Street Improve- ment Program can be added to the contract for said program heretofore awarded and on the same unit price basis as set out in said contract and, WHEREAS, public hearings have been held with respect to the proposed improvement of the streets here proposed to be added to said 1963 Street Improvement Program and, WZREAS, the total cost of adding said streets to said program has been shown to be not in excess of 25% of the entire cost of the projects, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: "1. Ives Lane from the Southwest corner of Lot 14, Block 7, Beacon Heights Second Addition to the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Block 6, Beacon Heights Second Addition is hereby deleted from the 1963 Street Inprovement Program. 2. The grading, base work and surfacing of the following streets is hereby added to the 1963 Street Improvement Program: Street 'lTfF-Kvenue North 25th Avenue North Pine Circle From Tse Highway 101 State Highway 101 24th Avenue North Magnolia Lane County Road No. 15 To X'point 160 feet North of 25th Avenue North A point 160 feet East of 24th Avenu3 North The South line of Lot 6, Block 4, Cross First Addn. 375 feet South of Sth Avenue North" The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Trustee )IFal lLon and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in .favor thereof: Trustees o' Fallon and 'dart oral Mayor Keefe. The following voted against the motion: None. The following were absent- Trustees Curtis and Reinan whereupon the motion was declared duly passed and adopted..
