RESOLUTION No. 2013-282
A RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS
FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE MEDICINE LAKE RETAINING WALL
CITY PROJECT NO. PRK13020
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the replacement of the
Medicine Lake retaining wall, along Medicine Lake Drive West, from 18th Avenue to
Evergreen Lane, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Carl Bolander & Sons is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum specifications; and
WHEREAS, all bids are significantly higher than estimated and SRF Consulting
Group Inc., our consulting Engineers recommends rejecting all bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. All bids received are hereby rejected.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids.
