RESOLUTION No. 2013-280
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE GENERAL
RETENTION SCHEDULE FOR MINNESOTA CITIES
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Administration, Information Policy Analysis
Division, the Minnesota Historical Society and the Minnesota Clerks and Finance Officers
Association have developed a General Records Retention Schedule for Minnesota Cities for the
management of government records per State Statutes 138.17;
WHEREAS, this schedule is updated annually;
WHEREAS, municipalities can adopt the General Record Retention Schedule for
Minnesota Cities by resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, the General Retention Schedule for Minnesota Cities is
hereby adopted.
