HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1962-050VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH iL—S0MJi1(u 62-,1+0 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RECONVEYANCE OF CEMIN LA A regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on the 16th day of October, 1962, pursuant, to due call and notice thereof. The following members were present: Mayor Keefe, Trustees Kreatz, Curtis and Teberg, and the following members were absent: Trustee Yngve. Trustee Curtis introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth did obtain from Robert M. Baker and Jean S; Baker, a conveyance of certain land in Section 30, Township 118, Range 22, for street purposes and, WHEREAS, it now appears that by virtue of the street and thoroughfare planned for the Village of Plymouth said land will not be required .for such street purposes and, WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth is obtaining from said Robert M. Baker and Jean S. Baker, othF:r land which is suitable and necessary for street and thoroughfare purposes in the Village of Plymouth. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: "That the following described land heretofore conveyed to the Village of Plymouth by Robert M. Baker and Jean S. Baker, husband and wife, be reconveyed to them: The South 30 feet of the South 135 feet of the East 325 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 118, Range 22." The above motion was seconded by Trustee Kreatz and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Keefe, Trustees Kreatz, Curtis and Teberg. The following voted against: None WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. The following members were present: Mayor Keefe, Trustees Kreatz, Curtis and Teberg, and the following members were absent: Trustee Yngve. M 4 i Trustee Curtis introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth did obtain from Robert X. Baker and Jean S. Baker, a conveyance of certain land in Section 30, Township 118, Range 22, for street purposes and, WHEREAS, it now appears that by virtue of the street and thoroughfare planned for the Village of Plymouth said land will not be required for such street purposes and, WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth is obtaining from said Robert M. Baker and Jean S. Baker, other land which is suitable and necessary for street and thoroughfare purposes in the Village of Plymouth.
