HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1961-054Pursuant to call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of rhe Village,Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on October 17, 1961, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. Central Standard Time at the Village Hall. Members present were as foliowst Mayor Anderson, Trustees Keefe, Kreatz, Theis and Yngve. Members absent were as follows: None. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Anderson R1$0=0K 61-54 Trustee Itl-ntrodu;ced the following resolution and moved its adoptiOn.1 "BE IT"RESOLVED, by'the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth as follows 1. It is hereby determined to be necessary 0d.expedient to the public health convenience and general welfare to acquire the following described property in the Village of Plymouth, County of Hennepin, for street and utility purposes to -wits That rt of the 50/4 of the NEI/4 of Section 30, pp� Township 118, Range 22, described as follows: Commencing ;on the West line of the SE -)/4 of the hE1/4 of r Section 30, Township 118, Range 22, at e point distant 30 feet North of the SX•cvrner there- of ON North along said West line a distance of „ 32 "9 feat to the North Iine of 20th Avenue North.; `thence deflecting to the right at an angle of 81030 a distance of 30 feet; thence South along a line parallel to the Wel►t 1 l ne of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of sold section a distance of 325.93 feet more or less to a point 30 feet North of the South line of said SEE/4 of the NEI/4 of said section; thence Westalong a line parallel to the South Tine of said S£1/4 of the NEI/4 a distance of 30 feet to the point of beginning. 2. The mayor and Village Attorney are hereby authorized to acquire said lands for the aforementioned purposes and to take any and all legal steps necessary tc such proceedings. The motion to adopt the resolution was seconded by Trustee 'Meir`; and upon vote being taken the following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Adderson, Trustees Keefe, Kreatz, Theis and Yngve. Johnson, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the VillaQe of Plymouth, Hennepin C2unty, Minnesota, do hereby certify that i have examined the attached and foregoing copy of a Resolution Authorizing Condemnation of Certain Lands, and that the same is a true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed by 'the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth on the 11th day of October, 1961; as the some is set forth in the minutes of the meeting of said council on file and of record in my office.
