355,000 and the population of Nioneapelis is about 483,000, and

are elected from the eity of Minneapolis and only one fro= rural and
zjrDaa Hennepin which is not proportimato representation.
NOW THIIMNE, BE IT RESULVED, by the Village Council of the Village of
Pl,mmt,h that the Mianosota Legislature is requested to increase the amber
of CoussW Cawissimse" elected from outside Minneapolis or to re -apportion
the Condesiamer districts so that the Citizens of Hennepin County residing
outside the Cita of Minneapolis my be prsportionatoly ropresented on the
County Board.
IS IT FURTW2 RiL%L.VED, that the Village Cleric forward a eepl► of this
rosolutioss to the rural Hennepin County Commissioner, the State RopresentatiTs
and the State Senator.
Upon the call of the. roll the following noted in favor of the Resclu& ons
Trustees Keefe, Kreats, Theis, and Zngre.
The following voted against its adoption, none, whereupon the presiding
offieer doslared the Resolution adopted.
