HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1960-026{ Resolution W-26 "" X EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYHOUTH, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA - RESOLUTION ORDERING CONDEMNATION /,z'9.- -'/1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting thereof of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was duly held at the Village Hall of said Village on the 6th day of September, 1960, at 5:00 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Anderson; Trustees, Keefe, Kreatz, Sahly and Theis. The following members were absent: None Trustee Kreatg introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption. WHEREAS, by previous Resolutions of the Council of the Village of Plymouth it was determined to improve certain roads by constructing a base, grading and applying a bituminous surface as to some and by grading and gravelling as to others all of which are more particularly described in said Resolutions, and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has determined that said project was feasible, and WHEREAS, public hearings were held ou this matter at the Villa3e Hall on June 7, 1960 for Grading and Graveling First Avenue (Hoag Road) and Idlewild Drive, and on May 31, 1960 for Bituminous surfacing and grade construction of Plum Lane. and WHEREAS, following the public hearings the Village Council did resolve that the project was feasible and necessary and did approve plans and specifica- tions and let bids for the improvements of said roads as therein described, and WHEREAS, as a part of said road improvement the engineer has reported to the Council that easements are necessary as follows: North 17 ft. of the West 1/2 of Lot 23, Greers Orchard Tracts. North 17-11*Z ft. of the following described property: East 1/2 of Lot 23, Greers Orchard Tracts; South 207 ft. of Lot 24, also that part of the North 90 ft. of the South 297 ft. lying West of the East 196 ft. thereof and that part lying North of the South 297 ft. thereof, Greers Orchard Tracts. The North 17 ft. of the following described property: The South 150 ft. of the North 200 it. of the West 100 ft. of Lot 22, Greers Orchard Tracts. The North 17 ft. of Lhe following described property: The North 150 ft. of the East 155 ft., Lot 22, Greers Orchard Tracts. The West 20 ft. of the following described property: West 116.6 ft. of the East 198 ft. of the North 178.6 ft. of Government Lot 1, Section 28, Township 118, Range 22, except road. The West 20 ft. of the following described property: Commencing at the Northeap�rner o° Government Lot 1, thence South 40 rods, thence West 12 rods, thence .4 ft. thence East 116.6 ft. thence Nortb 178.6 ft. thence East to beginning, all in Section 28, Township 118, Range 22, except road. East of center of Section 31, the:07JR79-475/1000 ft., thence North 640-46/100 ft., thence West 486-835/1000 ft., thence South 644-99/100 ft. to the beginning all in Section 31, Township 118, Range 22, except Cartway. North 25 ft, of the following described property: Commencing at 958-95/100 ft. East of the center of Section 31, thence East 479-475/1000 ft. thence North 643-99/100 ft., thence West 486-835/1000 ft., thence South 647-53/100 ft. all in Sec -ion 31, Township 118, Range 22, except Cartway. North 25 ft, of the following described property. The East 175.5 ft. of the following property: Commence at center of Section 31, then East 958-95/100 ft. thence North 647-53/100th feet, thence West 973-67/100 ft., thence South 654-6/10 ft. to beginning except Cartway. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved �,v the Council of the Village of Plymouth as follows: L. It is necessary for the purpose of sato road improvements that the above stated Easements be taken. 2. That said Easements are to be used for road purposes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution being duly seconded by Mayor Anderson aid upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Anderson, Trustee*; Keefe, Sreatz, 5ahly and Theis and the following voted against the same thereon: None WSW PON, said Resolution was duly passed and adapted. STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF HENNEPIN I, the undersigned, being duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, do hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing Extract of Minutes of the Council meeting of the Village of Plymouth of said village held on the 6th day of September, 1960, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript thereof insofar as the same relates to the con- demnation of easements for road improvements 60-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, Village of Plymouth. WITNESSETH my hand officially as such Clerk and the corporate seal of the Village this day of , 1960.
