Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Hinnescta, was held at the
Village Hail of said Village the 1^th �Y of September . 1959.
at S:OO P. X. The foll"ing members were present: Mayor Anderson,
Trustees Dezi el, EcKes, Kre tz and Theis,
and Mone was absent.
Trustee Lakes introduced the following, Resolution
and roved its adoption:

AN ZUKTUN.
WUSAS, there has been planned in the Village of Plymouth a
volunteer fire department to serve the residents of the Village, and
WHZiRAS, the Council has been advised 0it in order for said fire
department adequately to serve the residents of the Village, it is necessary
that a fire station be established with building, s,.,uipment and land, at a cost,
including aperating espenses for one year, of 180,000.00, and
WNE12M , to order to finance said establishment of a fire department,
it is :accessory that bonds be issued pledging the full faith and credit of the
Village to their payment, and
WdiiNAS, in order that such bonds may be issued as general obligations,
it is necessary ro submit the .,uestion of the issuance to the voters of the
Village,
NOW, TUREFOS, be it resolved by the Village Council of the Village
of Plymouth, Minnesota, as follows:
I. The Village Council of the Village of Plymouth has heretofore
invastigs.r_ed the facts in order to determine and has determined and does hereby

find and declare that it is necessary and expedient for the Village to establish
a fire station including buildiva, ejuipment and land at an estimated cost
to the Village of not to exceed W.000.00 and to finances the same by issuing
bonds as authorized b3 Chap. 475. Minn. Statutes.
I. The scatter of establishing said fire station and fluaucl%
cbe cost thereof shall be submitted to the voters of the Village at a Village
election to be hold on October 7th , 1959. The polls shall be open at 7:00
A. M. and remain open until 8:00 P. M.
3. The Village Clerk is authorized and directed to cause printed
ballots to be prepared for use in bald election in which the proposition shall
be stated in substantially the following fatal:

Voters desiriag to vote in favor of the foregoing
proposition shall maks an "x" in the ajuare opposite the
word "yea"; voters desiring to vote against the foregoing
proposition shall mark an "ac" in the syAare apposite the

k. The Village Clerk shall cause notice of said election to be
given by publication in the official newspaper of the Village at least one
week prior to said election and by prr!tiag in at least three public places
In the Village at least ten days prior to said election.
5. The election shall be held at the usual voting places for
aoa"I pillage elections and said election shall be held and conducted in
accor;ds�ace with the statutes of the State of lt+i nesota applicable to Village
elections. The Council shall meet as required by law =or the purpose of
canvassing said election and declaring the results thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Trustee Theis and upon vote being taken thereon the
following voted in favor thereof: 'keyor Anderson, Trustees -DeZiel,
Eekes, Krentz and. Theis,
and the following vated against the ear:
None

therefrom insofar as the saw relates to the issuance of $80,000.00 general
obligation bonds to establish and equip a fire station and calling an election
