The Village Council for the
Village of Plymouth do hereby
ordain as follows:
Section 1. THI& This Ordinance
shall be known as "Phe Planning
Commision Ordinance."

formity with Minnesota Laws
1937, Chapter 287, as amended,
there is hereby created a Plan-
ning Commission for the Village
of Plymouth to have all the pow-
ers provided by said Act.

Section 3.01. There shall be
eleven (11) members of said
Commission to be appointed in
the manner hereinafter set
forth; ',nd in addition thereto, the
Village Attorney and the Village
Engineer shall be ex officio mem-
bers of tl a Commission.
Section 3.02. So that there will
be geor raphic representation on
the Commission, there are hereby
created for the purpose of this
Ordinance nine (9) districts as
follows:
District I shall be composed
of Sections 1, 2, 11 and 12; Dis-
trict 2 shall be composed of Sec-
tions 3. 4, 9 and 10; District 3
shall be composed of Sections 5,
6. 7 and 8; District 4 shall be

and 20; District 5 shall be com-
p -sed of Sections 15, 16, 21 and
22; District 6 shall be composed
of Sections 13, 14, 23 and 24;
District 7 shall be composed of
Sections 25, 26. 35 and 36; Dis-
trict 8 shall be composed of Sec-
tions 27, 28, 33 and 34; District
9 shall be composed of Sections
29, 30, 31 and 32;
all of the said sections being in
Township 118, Range 22, and
comprising the Village of Ply-
mouth. There shall be on the
Commission at all times nine (9)
"Representative" members com-
posed of one (1) resident from
each district.
Section 3.03. The nine (9) Rep-
resentative members shall be ap-
pointed by the Village Council,
and shall serve for terms of three
(3) years each; except that, of
he members appointed in the
year 1959, one-third shall be ap-
poit. ted for a term of one (1)
year, one-third for a term of two
(2) years, and one-third for a
term of three (3) years. Any va-
cancy occurring among the Rep-
resentative members during un-
expired term, shall be filled by
vote of the Village Council.
Section 3.04. In addition to the
nine (9) Representative mem-
bers, there shall be appointed by
the Mayor for terms of one (1)
year each, a member from the
Village at large and a Chairman
of the Commission.
Section 4. Procedure. Except as
herein provided, the Commission
shall provide its own rule, of
procedure by and with the ap-
proval of the Village Council; ex-
cept, that the Chairman of the
Commission or, in his absence,
any member acting as Chairman
shall vote only in case of a tie
vote.
Section L This Ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and publi-
cation.
