Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of March, 1970. The following members were presents Councilmen Johnson, Hintz,' Kineseth and Spaeth. Mayor Hilde was absent. e*e a** Councilman Kindseth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70-85 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for th- improvement of a Sanitary Sewer Lift Station at State Highway #55 and County Road #18 bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER TOTAL BASE BIDDER TOTAL BASE I BID BID xs Barso Construction $206,000.00 Magney Construction $218,500.00_ Gridor Construction 224,680.00 Northern Contracting 239,000.00 Hurley Construction 241,172.00 Ac•an Construction 242,471.00 Scan Construction 243,400.00 Orvedahl Inc. 252,000.00 I - Johnson Bros, Hway. 320,000.00 Berglund -Johnson 341,706.00 Sheehy Bridge 373,061.00 and, WHEREAS, it appears that Barso Construction of Osseo, ?Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE'VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby-authorized,<'and directed to enter into the attached contract with Barso Construction of Osseo, Minnesota in the name of the Village of Plymouth for the install- ation of a Sanitary Sewer Lift Station at County Road #18 and. 1 State Highway No. 55, according to the plana'and specifications therefore approved by the -Village Council-- and _on',file in the 'office of the Village Clerk:' 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, r except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a_ contract -has-been signed. 3. This bid award is subject to approval of The Federal Water f t Pollution Control Agency. f I i ,a t The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolutian was duly k seconded by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth 1 and Kindseth, No one voted against.
