Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
;iVillage Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
423rd day of February, 1970. The following members were present:
!'Mayor Hiide, Councilmen Hintz, Johnson, Kindseth and Spaeth. No one

Councilman Hintz introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:

RESOLUTION NO. 70-69

WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis Park has submitted to the
Village of Plymouth and City of Minnetonka a proposed
drainage and storm sewer plan for the area in St. Louis
Park known as "Shelard Park", and
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that said drainage and storm
sewer system traverses a portion of the Village of Plymouth
and ultimately drains into Bassett's Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth is a member of the Bassett's
Creek Flood Control Commission which has been recently organ-
ized for the purpose of finding solutions for drainage pro-
blems related to Bassett's Creek.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUT11 AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Bassett's Creek Flood Control Commission is urged to
undertake and expedite a special study and proposed solu-
tion to the drainage problems created by the development
of Shelard Park. That such study should include engin-
eering data relative to such a solution together with
an itemization of the cost thereof allocated between and
among the communities involved.
2. That the Village Clerk be directed to send certified copies
of this resolution to the Chairman of the Bassett's Creek
Flood Control Commission together with the City Councils of
the City of St. Louis Park and the City of Minnetonka.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Kindseth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz,
Johnson, Kindseth and Spaeth. No one voted against.
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Deputy i
Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I
have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of the
minutes of a special meeting of the Village Council of said Village
held February 23, 1970, with the original thereof on file in my
office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom.
