HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1970-053VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS i Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regulrr meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the `1 ,i 2nd day of February, 1970. The following members were present: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Hintz, Johnson, Kindseth and Spaeth. No one was absent. Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70-53 ii WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on October 27, 1969, the Village Consultant Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the Northeast Interceptor Project 668-1C I ( and presented such plans and specifications to the Council for 1 S4 � r approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. "Such plans and specifications are hereby approved. i 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted 1 {I in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such isiprove- ment under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for twr weeks, shall specify i the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 10:00 A.M. C.S.T. on February 27, 1970, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a rash i deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified ci.ack { payable to the Clerk for 52 of the amount of such bid." i The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly i seconded by Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being taken thereon, the 'f following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Hintz, Johnson, Spaeth and Kindseth.
