HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1987-02CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 97-02 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE SALE, CONSUMPTION AND DISPLAY OF ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES; The City Council of the City of Plymouth ordains: Section II. Plymouth City Code Chapter XII, is amended as follows: CHAPTER XII SALE, CONSUMPTION AND DISPLAY OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES SECTION 1206.19, SUBDIVISION 3 - LIABILITY INSURANCE Subd. 3. Liability Insurance. Prior to the issuance of a liquor license, the applicant shall file with the City Clerk a general liability insurance policy in the amount of $100,000 coverage for one person and $300,000 coverage for more than one person, and shall comply with the provisions of Minnesota, Section 340A.409, Subd. 1 relating to Dram Shop liability Insurance policies requirements of $50,000 for one person and $100,000 for more than one person. If a liability insurance policy is made subject to all the conditions of a bond under that section, the policy may be accepted by the City Council In lieu of the bond required under Subdivision 3 of this subsection. Section III. This ordinance effective February 1, 1987. ATTEST J Clerk
