ORDINANCE NO. 85-31
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO TRAFFIC AND MOTOR VEHICLES;
ADDING SUBSECTION 1305.17 TO THE CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. The Plymouth City Code Is amended by adding a new suction to
read:
1305.17. Operation and Reaulation of Motorized Golf Carts.
Subd. 1. Operation. Persons who are physically handicapped as
defined n Minnesota 5tetutes ec ofd 169.345, u are authorized
to operate motorized oolf carts on destanated roadways or portions
witnin the cave
Subd. 2. Permit Required. No eerson shall operate a motorized golf
cart without obtaining a permit provided herein.
Subd. 3. Apelication. Evert application for a rmit shall be made

Subd. 4. Permit Fee. The annual permit fee shall be as set forth

Subd. 5. Term of Permit. Permits shall be granted for a period of
one year and may be re ed annua y.

Subd. 6. Conditions of Permit. No

Subd. 8. Times of Operation. Motorized golf carts may only be

Subd. 9. Slow Moving Vehicle Emblem. Motorized golf carts shall

Statutes, Section 169,522, when oDerated on desionated roadways.
Subd. 10. Crossing Intersecting Hi hwa s. The operator of a
motorized o cart may cross any street or highway Intersectinga

Subd. 11. Application of Traffic Laws. Every person operating a
motorized o cart under permit on designated roadways has all the

Subd. 13. Penalty. Any Mrson violatinp any of the provisions

Section 2. The Plymouth City Code is amended by revision of Section
1010.01. Fees, Subdivision 7, to add the following:
Motorized Golf Cart Operator 1305 $25
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publi-
cation.
