AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PORTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 80-9, ADOPTED DUNE 16, 1980, AS
AMENDED AND KNOWN AS THE PLYMOUTH ZONING ORDINANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTO ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 4, Subdivision B, Definitions is hereby amended by the
addition of the following:
Clubs, private -- A place of asseembly and activity where membership is required and
directed toward and limited to people with specific interests or of a specific
group,
Clubs, public -- A place of assembly and activity where membership typically is re-
quired and is directed toward the general public, and where sponsoring the
organization is non-profit.
Clubs, sports, and fitness -- A place of assembly and activity where membershi
be required and is directed toward the general public with the commercial p
tion of sports and physical fitness.
Commercial Recreation -- A business directed toward the general public, not requiring
membership, that offers recreational entertainment such as amusement centers,
bowling alleys, billiard halls, miniature golf, movie theaters ballrooms and the
like.
Section 2. Section 8, Subdivision B, Allowable Uses: Business Districts is
hereby amended by the addition of the following:

C C - Sports and fitness club
C C C - Sports and fitness club in an office building
available for employee/tenant use only, which
clearly is incidental to the principal use.
Section 3. Section 10, Subdivision B, Table 2, 2., g) is hereby amended by the
addition of the following:

Section 4. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage
