AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSING;
AMENDING CHAPTER XII, SECTION 1200.13, SUBDIVISION 3.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH HEREBY ORDAINS:
Section 1. Plymouth City Code, Chapter XII, Section 1200.13,
Subdivision 3 is amended to read:

Section 1200. Intoxicating Liquor.
Subd. 3. Distance from school, church or residential
zone. No license shall be granted within the same block of
any school, church or residential zone as defined herein
or within 300 feet of any school, church or residential zone.
Residential zone for the purpose of this subdivision shall
include R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4 and FRO zones. In the case of FAD
zones future guided land use only will be considered rather
than current usage. This subdivision shall not be binding in
RE) zones unless the property is guided as LA -1, LA -2, LA -3,
or LA -4 or RPUD for eventual residential use.
The distances established herein, shall be measured in a
line from the parcel or lot upon which the business to be
'! licensed is located to the nearest point of the parcel or lot
upon which the school or church is located. The erection of a
1 school or church within the prohibited area after the original
license application has been granted shall not, in and of
itself, render such premises ineligible for renewal of the
license.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective upon passage and publication.
