ORDINANCE NO. 79-20 I
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO STORM DRAINAGE:
ESTABLISHING STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT TAX DISTRICT NO. 4
SHINGLE CREEK WATERSHED
THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS:
Section 1. Authority. The City is authorized by Minnesota Statutes,
Sections 444.16 to 444.21 (the "Act") to establish storm sewer improvement,
tax districts for the purpose of constructing and financing storm sewers
and related facilities within such districts.
Section 2. Findings. The City Council hereby finds and determines
that it is necessary for the proper control of storm drainage
and flooding in the City to use the authority contained ic, the Act to create
"i a storm sewer improvement tax district.
Section 3. District Created. Storm Sewer Improvement Tax District I
No. 4, Shingle Creek aters a the "District") is established. The s,

1 Shingle Creek Watershea in the Cit.., of Plymouth comprises
that area which is bounded by the following described lines:
commencing at a point of beginning at the northeast corner of the
City of Plymouth, Hennepin County, thence westerly along the
north line of the City of Plymouth to the westerly line of Inter-
state Highway No. 494 (NOTE 1), thence southerly on said westerly
line to the south line of the NE k of the SW k of Sec. 3, T1I8N,
P2214, thence westerly on said south line and the south line of
the FW k of the SW 3, of said Sec. 3 to the west line of Sec. 3,
10 thence northerly on the west line of said Sec. 3 to a point 660
feet south of the north line of the SW ; of Sec. 3, thence east-
erly a distance of 330 feet along a lire 660 feet south of and
parallel to the north line of said SW h, thence northerly 660
feet along a line 330 feet east of and parallel to the West line
of said SW fix, thence westerly along the north line of said SW h

Section 4. Effective Date: Filing. This ordinance is effective
on the day of its publication in accordance with law. The City Clerk
shall file a certified copy of this ordinance with the County Recorder
of Hennepin County.
Adopted by the City Council the 4th day of September, 1979.
