HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1979-13CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 79-13 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO CLASSIFY CERTAIN LANDS IN SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 118, RANGE 22 AS RI -A (LOW DENSITY SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Amendment of Ordinance. Ordinance No. 78-2 of the City of !`Plymouth, adopted January 9, 1978 and known as the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance, ibis hereby amended by changing the classification on the City of Plymouth Zoning ii ;;Map with respect to the hereinafter described property from R-0 (Restricted Residential District) to RI -A (Low Density Single Family Residential District): !That part of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 20, Town - .ship 118, Range 22 west of the 5th Principal Meridian described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the west line of said southwest ,,quarter of the northwest quarter with the centerline of County Road No. 24; !thence north along said west line to a point distant 638.86 feet north from the `1southwest corner of said southwest quarter of the northwest quarter; thence ';deflecting right 57 degrees 20 minutes a distance of 234.53 feet; thence de- flecting right 77 degrees 58 minutes to said centerline; thence southwesterly !?along said centerline to the point of beginning; :Except that part thereof described as follows:, That part of the northwest ;quarter of Section 20, Township 118, Range 22 described as follows: Commencing' 'at the intersection of the west line of the northwest quarter of Section 20, " ;Township 118, Range 22 with the centerline of County Road 24 which point is 1111,22 feet north of the ;southwest corner of said northwest quarter; thence ,continue north on the west line of said northwest quarter a distance of 266.95 feet; thence angle right 90 degrees a distance of 90 feet; thence deflect to the right at an angle of 50 degrees 58 minutes 04 seconds a distance of 178.74 feet to the centerline of County Road No. 24; thence southwesterly along said centerline to the point of beginning Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication.. i. i ORDINANCE No. 79 - 10 (continued) If he or she orders the animal control officer to take the animal into custody for destruction, the owner shall imemdiately make the animal available to the animal warden. (c) A dangerous animal running at large shall be apprehended by the animal warden and if the animal bears no identification which reasonably reveals its ownership, the animal control officer shall impound the animal until the quarantine period is completed. If the animal has not been claimed, it shall be destroyed at the end of the quarantine period. If the animal is claimed, upon payment of kennel fees, it shall be released to the person paying such fees and the City Manager shall proceed as in subsection (a). The requirements of this section shall be in addition to those of Section 915.05, Subd. 5 pertaining to rabies vacinations and Section 915.17, Subds. 1, 2 and 3. Section 2. This ordinance is effective upon passage and publication. Adopted by the City Council the 4th day of June, 1979. Playor
