ORDINANCE NO. 79-1
AN ORDINANCE ENACTING THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE OF 1979
THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Code Adopted. Pursuant to the authority granted by
Minnesota Statutes, Sections 515.02 and 415.021, the City Council 'hereby
enacts the Plymouth City Code of 1979, prepared at the Council's direction
and dated February, 1979. The code is a revision, rearrangement, re -
codification and reenactment of all existing effective ordinances of the
City except as otherwise provided in this ordinance.
Section 2. Copies Available. A substantial quantity of the codifi-
cation shall be printed for general distribution and availability to the
public in such reasonable quantities and at such reasonable charges as may
be fixed by the City Clerk, and copies shall be kept available for public
inspection in the offices of the Clerk.
Section 3. Notice of Publication. The City Clerk shall publish
notice of the availability of t e ymouth City Code for two successive
weeks prior to the effective date of this ordinance.
Section 4. Ordinances Not Affected. The following ordinances of
the City not included in this code are not affected, repealed, amended
or altered by the adoption of this code:

Ordinance No. 74-1, effective January 1, 1974, providing
for a system of biennial city elections.
Chapter VIII, Sections 1 through 4, inclusive, of the
Plymouth City Code as they existed on the effective date
of this ordinance, being franchises to various public and
private utilities.
Ordinance No. 78-2, the Zoning Code of the City (Appendix I
of the Code hereby adopted).- }
All `other 'ordinances of the City not included in the Plyrouth
City Code as it existed on the effective date of this orc:inance.
Ordinance No. 79-2, adopted January 8, 1979, relating to
licences for the on -sale of non -intoxicating malt liquor.

included in an appropriate appendix to the Plymouth Code of 1979.
Section 7. Custody: Distribution. The City Clerk is the custodian
of all copies of the Code. The Clerk may distribute copies of the Code
to such city offices and employees in such quantities as may be authorized
by the City Manager.
Section 8. Effective Date. This ordinance is effective after its
passage and publication. The Plymouth City Code of 1979 is effective
on February 1, 1979.
