AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6.01 OF
CHAPTER I OF THE CITY CODE TO PROVIDE
FOR PENALTIES AUTHORIZED BY STATUTE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment of City Code. Section 6.01 of Chapter I
of the City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"CHAPTER I. GENERAL PROVISIONS.
Section 6. PENALTIES.
6.01. Unless another penalty is expressly provided by
this Code for any particular provision, section or chapter,
any person violating any provision of this Code, or any rule
or regulation adopted or issued in pursuance thereof, or any
provision of any Code adopted herein by reference, shall,
upon conviction, be subject to a finr not to exceed $500.00
or imprisonment in a city or county jail for a period for not
to exceed 90 days, or both."
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective
upon its passage and publication.
Adopted by the City Council the 3rd day of April, 1978.
