AN ORDINANCE REGULATING NOISE IN RESIDENTIAL

NEIGHBOiHOODS AND ADDING`` SECTION 1.04(a) TO
CHAPTER V OF THE CITY CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN

AS FOLLOWS:

Section '1. Chapter it of the City Code of the City of Plymouth is
hereby amended by adding a new section to read:
"lQ4(a) Noise in Residential Areas. No person shall, between
t e hours of 0:004 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., congregate
because of or participate in any party or gathering
of people from which noise emanates of a sufficient
volume so as to disturb the peace, quiet or repose of
persons residing in any residential area.
No person shall visit or remain within any
residential dwelling unit wherein such party or
gathering is taking place except persons Who have
gone there for the sole purpose of abating the
disturbance."
Section 2. Effective date. This ordinance shall take effect

from and after its passage and publication.
Adopted this 16th day of May, 1977.
