ORDINANCE NO. 74-11
AN ORDINA."CCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE RELATING TO LICENSING
AND REGULATING THE INSTALLATION OF WELLS

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. k*ndnent of City Code.
1.01. Section 17.02 of Chapter III of the City Code is hereby
repealed and the following substituted therefor:
"17.02. Bonds. No person, firm or corporation shall engage
in the businessorinstalling, constructing and repairing domestic
water supply systers within the municipality without first
procuring a license from the Board of Health of the State of
Minnesota and posting with the City Clerk a bond in the amount
of $1,000.00 in favor of the municipality and the public, conni-
tinned upon the faithful perform-ance of contracts and compliance
with this ordinance. Such bond shall be renewable annually on
or before May 1st each year and may be revoked or refused by the
?f Council for cause. Any installation, construction, alteration,
or repair of a domestic water supply system by a licensee in
iP violation of the provisions of Section 17.05 of this section or
refusal on the part of a licensee to correct such defective work
jj performed by such licensee shall be cause for revocation of or
I� refusal to renew a bond. Before any bond issued under the
�! provisions of this section may be revoked or its renewal refused,
�! the licensee shall be given a hearing to show cause why such
i bond should not be revoked or refused. Notice of the time,
l place and purpose of such hearing shall be in writing.,,
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective
upon its passage and publication.
