HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1973-08VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 73-8 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO CLASSIFY CERTAIN LANDS IN THE SOUTH 1/2 OF SECTION 1, TOWNSHIP 118, RANGE 22 AS B-3 SERVICE BUSINESS DISTRICT THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY { ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: i' 0 Section 1. Amendment of Ordinance. Ordinance No. 68-8 of the Village of Plymouth, adopted May 13, 1968 and known as the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended by changing the clas- sification on the Village of Plymouth Zoning Map with respect to the hereinafter described property to B-3 (Service Business District): That part of the East half of the Southeast Quarter and that part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, Section 1, j Township 118, Range 22, all described as being at the intersection of the North line of said East half of the Southeast Quarter with a line drawn parallel to and 175 feet West, measured at right angles, from the East line of said East half of the Southeast Quarter; thence South along said parallel line to its intersection with a line drawn West at right angles to said East line from a s point thereon. 1080.5 feet South from the Northeast corner of said East half of the Southeast Quarter; thence West along the last described line 340 feet to a point 515 feet West from said East line; thence South parallel to said East line 150 feet; thence East at a right angle 100 feet; thence South parallel to said East line, to the North line of the South 990 feet of said East half of the Southeast Quarter; thence West along said last mentioned North a line to the West line of said East half of the Southeast Quarter; thence North along said West line to a point thereon 295 feet South from the Northwest corner of said East half of the Southeast Quarter; thence East parallel to the North line of said East half of the Southeast Quarter; 295 feet; thence North parallel to the West lire of said East half of the Southeast Quarter and its extension to the :i centerline of County Road No. 10; thence Northeasterly and Easterly along the centerline of said road to its intersection with a line drawn parallel to and 330 feet West, measured at right angles, from the East line of the said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence South along said last described parallel line to the North line of said East half of the Southeast Quarter; thence East along the North line of said East half of the Southeast Quarter to the point of beginning, lying Northerly and Northwesterly of a line described as commencing at the Northwest corner of the East half 01 the Cl:tl'fd5t CUartc.r; thr-nct? South along the West line of the Last half of the Southeast Quarter, a distance of 945.00 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence East parallel with the North line of the East half of the Southeast Quarter, a distance of 580.00 feet; thence deflecting to the left 45 degrees, 00 minutes, 00 seconds to its intersection with the c right of way line of County Road No. 18 and there terminating, Ordinance No. 73-8 Page Two Except therefrom that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 1 described as commencing at the Northeast corner of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence West along the North line thereof 415.21 feet; thence South at right angles 58 feet to the actual point of beginning; thence West, paral- lel to the North line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter 260 feet; thence South at a right angle 297 feet; thence East at a right angle 260 feet; thence North at a right angle 297 feet to the actual point of beginning, Except that part which lies Northeasterly of a line drawn parallel with and distant 50.0 feet Southwesterly of a line described as follows: Commencing at the East"Quarter corner of Section 1, Town- ship 118, Range 22; thence Southerly along the East line of said Section a distance of 183.0 feet; thence deflect 98 degrees, 30 minutes to the right a distance of 659.59 feet; thence deflect 90 degrees, 00 minutes to the left, a distance of 13.0 feet; thence deflect 90 degrees, 00 minutes to the right, a distance of 97.62 feet; thence deflect to the left along a tangential curve having a radius of 5729.58 feet, a distance of277.17 feet; thence Southerly along a radial line of said curve, a distance of 16.0 feet; thence deflect 90 degrees, 00 minutes to the right, a distance of 100.0 feet; thence deflect 180 degrees, 00 minutes to the right a distance of 100.0 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence Southeasterly, deflecting to the right along a tangential curve having a radius of 381.97 feet and a delta angle of 43 degrees, 00 minutes, a distance of 286.66 feet; thence along a tangent to said curve, a distance of 629.69 feet; thence deflect to the right along a tan- gential curve having a radius of 954.93 feet, a distance of 183,65 feet to a point hereinafter referred to a point "A"; thence continue Southeasterly along said curve, a distance of 125.0 feet and there terminating. Also except that part lying Easterly and Southeasterly of a line described as followes: Commencing at a point on the East line of said East half of Southeast Quarter distant 1080.5 feet South from the Northeast corner thereof; thence West at right angles to said East line a distance of 315.0 feet to the actual point of beginning of the line to be described; thence North parallel with said East line a distance of 117.0 feet; thence Northeasterly to the point of termination of the first above described line. Also except that part of the East one-half of the Southeast Quarter, Section 1, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the North line of said East one-half of the Southeast Quarter with a line drawn parallel to and 175 feet West, measured at right angles, from the East line of said East one- half of the Southeast Quarter; thence South along said parallel line to its intersection with a line drawn West at right angles to said East line from a point thereon 1080.5 feet South from the Northeast corner of said East one-half of the Southeast Quarter; thence West along the last described line 340 feet to a point 515 feet West from said East line; thence South parallel to said East line 150 feet to the point of beginning; thence East at a right angle a distance of 100 feet; thence South parallel to said East line a distance of 60 feet; thence West at right angles a dist,=.nce of 100 feet; thence North at richt angle to the point of beginning. Also except that part of the East one-half of the Southeast Quarter, Section 1, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows: 'Ordinance No. 73-8 'Page Three Commencing at the intersection of the North line of said East one-half of the Southeast Quarter with a line drawn parallel to and 175 feet West, measured at right angles, from the East line of said East one- half of the Southeast Quarter; thence South along said parallel line to its intersection with a line drawn West at right angles to said East line from a point thereon 1080.5 feet South from the Northeast corner of said East one-half of the Southeast Quarter; thence West along the last described line 340 feet to a point 515 feet West from said East line; thence South parallel to East line a distance of 210 feet to the point of beginning; thence East at right angles a distance of 100 feet; thence South at right angles a distance of 150 feet; thence West at right angles a distance of 100 feet; thence North at right angles to the point of beginning. Section 2. General Development Plan. This Ordinance auth- ,orizes the development of said tract only in accordance with the ,General Development Plan, consisting of one (1) exhibit (Exhibit �A) dated January 8, 1973, which General Development Plan is or ,file in the Village offices and subject to the following condi- �tions: 1. The General Development Plan shall not be considered a final site plan; 2. Detailed plans and specifications shall be submitted showing how all sanitary sewage and drainage from the site will be handled; 3. A general circulation plan for the area shall be submitted and approved showing how the proposed site will obtain access to County Road 10 through the adjoining property to the West; j 4. A preliminary plat or deeds shall be submitted granting to the I Village all required streets, drainage and utility easements; 5. A petition for Village sanitary sewer and water shall be sub- mitted and the required public hearings waived; 6. A complete site plan and conditional use permit request shall be submitted for review and approval, taking into consideration items one (1) through five (5 above. Section 3. Effective Date.
