VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
OPOrNANCE NO. 73-5
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING
TO THE PROVISION BY �UNDITIONAL USE PERMIT OF DAY CARE
CENTERS AND NURSERY SCHOOLS WITHIN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS
WHEN CONDUCTED IN A SCHOOL OR CHURCH FACILITY
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE "ILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment of Ordinance. Ordinance No. 68-8 of
the Village of Plymouth, known as the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance,

is hereby amended in the following particulars:

1.01. Section 4, Subdivision 2. Rules and Definitions, of said Ordinance
is amended by adding the following thereto:
"Day Care -- A facility providing care and protection i
for Chli dren six weeks of age or older and licensed by
the Department of Public Welfare of the State of Minnesota.
Nursery School -- A facility providing activities of an edu-
cational or enriching nature for six or more children of
up to the age of six and licensed by the State of Minnesota."
1.02. Section 6, Subdivision 3, Uses by Conditional Use Permit, of said
Ordinance is amended by adding the following thereto as paragraph 13:
13. Day care center and nursery school when operated in
churches or public or private schools only." i
1.03. Section 7, Subdivision 3, Uses by Conditional Use Permit, of said
Ordinance is amended by adding the following thereto as paragraph 9:
"9. Day care center and nursery school when operated in
churches or public or private schools only."

Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect
)upon its passage and publication.
