AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER VII, SECTION
7.O6 OF THE VILLAGE CODE WITH RFcni4r TO
THE DEDICATION OF PUBLIC SITES AND OPEN
SPACES IN PLATS OF SUBDIVISION FOR RESI-
DENTIAL USES
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment of Village Code. Section 7.06 of

Chapter VII of the Village Code is hereby repealed and the
'i following enacted and substituted therefor:
"CHAPTER VII. SUBDIVISION AND PLATTING OF LAND.
. . . Section 7. DESIGN STANDARDS.
. 7.06. Dedication of Lands for Public Parks
and Playgrounds.
. 6. A percentage of the land area so conveyed or
dedicated for park and/or trail purposes (exclusive of
sumps and drainage areas) may be used by an owner or
developer as an allowance for purposes of calculating
the density requirements of the development as set out
in the Village Zoning Ordinance when it is found by the
Village Council after receiving a report from the Village
Manager to.be necessary for the completion of a portion
of the Compprehensive Guide Plan for Parks and Trails
and shall be in addition to and not in lieu of open
space requirements for Community Unit Projects pursuant
to Section 10, Subdivision 6, Paragraph 2. e. or open
space requirements for Residential Subdivision Unit
Projects pursuant to Section 7, Subdivision 7, Paragraph
2. e. of the Village Zoning Ordinance.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect upon its passage and publication.
Adopted by the Village Council the 2sth day of September,
