VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
ORDINANCE NO. 72-18
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
RELATING TO REQUIREMENTS FOR RESIDENTIAL
SUBDIVISION UNIT PROJECTS, USES BY
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN I-1 ZONES AND
PARKING AND LOADING REGULATIONS IN I 1 ZONES
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAM OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment of Ordinance. Ordinance No. 68-8 of
the Village of Plymouth, known as the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance,
is hereby amended in the following particulars:
1.01. Sub -Paragraph "g" of Paragraph 2 of
Subdivision 7 of Section 7 of said ordinance is hereby
repealed and the following substituted therefor:
"g. The total area in square feet in the
Subdivision devoted to residential lots, i
and a percentage of the land area conveyed
or dedicated for parks and/or trails when
it is found by the Village Council after
receiving a report from the Village Manager
to be necessary for the completion of a
portion of the Comprehensive Guide Plan i
for Parks and Trails (exclusive of street
rights-of-way, sump and drainage areas
other than as provided in Paragraph 2(e) ?
of this Subdivision) divided by the total
number of residential lots shall equal
or exceed eighteen thousand five hundred
(18,500) square feet. The total area in
square feet devoted exclusively to
residential lots (exclusive of open space,
street rights-of-way, sump and drainage j
areas) divided by the total number of
residential lots shall equal or exceed
thirteen thousand five hundred (13,500)
square feet."
1.02. Subdivision 3 of Section 15 of said
ordinance is amended by adding the following thereto
as Paragraph 3:
"3. Offices for administrative, executive,
professional, research, sales repre-
sentatives, or similar organization, and
generally compatible with the industrial
district."
1.03. Sub -Paragraph "f" of Paragraph 4 of
Subdivision 2 of Section 17 of said ordinance is
hereby repealed and the following substituted therefor:
'f. In an I-1 PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, no
parking or loading space shall be located
in any required setback area lying between
the side lot lines, or in any required
side yard or rear yard that abuts any of
the CLASSES OF RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, and
in no instance shall parking or loading
space be located within fifteen (15) feet
of a side or rear property line, except
for railroad loading areas, except in the
case of parking space on the adjoining
property in which case no setback shall be
required."
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect upon its passage and publication.
Adopted by the Village Council the 25th day of
September , 1972.
