ORDINANCE NO. 70-28
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO LICENSING AND
BONDING OF PERSONS SERVICING FIRE
EXTINGUISHERS WITHIN TF.E VILLAGE AND
AMENDT%G SECTION 7 OF CHAPTER VI OF THE
VILLr.,:E CODE.
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment of Village Code. Section 7 of Chapter
VI of the village Code is hereby amended by adding the following
ther.:to as Section 7.03:
". 7.03. Section 14.3 of the 'Fire Prevention Code -
1965 Edition' is hereby amended by addin7 the following
thereto:
'Section 14.3. Maintenance of Equipment.
All persons engaged in the servicing and
recharging of fire extinguishers within the village
shall be required to obtain an annual license from
the tillage and pay therefor a fee of $15.00.
Such license shall expire on December 31st of each
year. Before such license is issued, an applicant
shall file with the Village Clerk a surety bond in
the penal sum of $1,000.00 to secure the faithful
performance of contracts for the servicing and
recharging of such fixe extinguishers.'"
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become
effective upon its passage and publication.
Adopted by the Village Council the 20th day of July, 1970.
