HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1970-18VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 70-/e AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1.26 OF CHAPTER V OF THE VILLAGE CODE RELATIVE TO THE GRIME OF LOITERING AND LURKING THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DOES HERE- BY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Amendment of Village Code. Section 1.26 of Chapter V of the Village Code is hereby deleted and the follow- ing substituted therefor: "CHAPTER V. MISDEMEANORS AND OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY AND MORALS. ... 1.26 Loitering and Lurkip . No person on any public or private property shaix Iolter, lurk, lie in wait or be concealed' without lawful business and withthe intent to do mischief or to commit any crime or unlawful act. Any person so loitering or lurking in whose possession shall be found any instrument, tool, or other implement for'pickiog locks, or any implement that is usually eia- ployed or tb- t may reasonably be inferred to have beep► designed to be employed to unlawfully, gain access to any building, automobile or any other property of another and who shall fail to account satisfactorily for the posses- sion.
