AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE
jj RELATING TO THE DUTIES OF THE VILLAGE
`c MANAGER AND THE VILLAGE CLERK
,THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
'AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Amendment of Code. Chapter 'vIII of the
Village Code of the Vi age o ymout is hereby amended in the
!following respects:
(a) Section 6.02 of said Chapter VIII shall be
amended by deleting the whole thereof and
substituting the following therefor:
116.02. License and Bond Required -
Renewal Date - Term. No person, firm or
corporation s a engage in the business of
installing and constructing sewage disposal sy:
tems within the municipality without first
obtaining a license .o carry on such oceupatioi
from theCouncil and procuring and posting with
the Clerk a bond in the sum of $1,000.00 in
favor of the municipality and the public, toad:
tioned upon the faithful performance of
contracts and compliance with this section.
Such license shall be renewable annually on
or before May 1st of each year and may be
revoked or refused by the Council for cause.
The annual license fee shall be $25.00. Any
violation of the provisions of this section
by a licensee or refusal of a licensee -to
correct defective work shall be causefor
such revocation or refusal to renew such licens
(b) Section 6.05 of said Chapter VIII shall
be amended by deleting the whole thereof
and substituting the following therefor:
"6.05. Administration of Section by
Inspector. The -Tillage_ Manager shall assign
responsibility for administration,of this
section to a qualified inspector."
(c) .Section 8.04 of said Chapter VIII shall
be amended by deleting the whole thereof
and substituting the following therefor:
"8.04. It is horeby made the duty
of the Village Manager to render to the
owners, lessees, ur occupants of such property
on the first day of each quarter bills for the
amount of the sewer rental charge hereinabove
set forth. The funds received from the col-
lection of the sewer rental charges shall be
kept separate from the general or other
revenues of the village and when so collected
shall Le placed in.the Sanitary Sewer Sinking
Fund."

(d) Section 9.01 of said Chapter VIII shall
be amended by deleting the whole thereof
and substituting the following therefor:
"9.01. Administration. There is hereby
established in Trie Village of Plymouth a Yater
Department which shall be under the direct
regulation and control of the Village Manager.
The Manager shall appoint a Superintendent and
such other persons as shall be necessary to
perform duties in such Water Department either
in connection with other Village employment or
as part-time employment. Such; persons shall
work under the direct supervision of the Villag
Manager." I I
Section 2. Reference to Clerk -Administrator. Any
eference to the Village Clerk -Administrator in Chapter VIII of the
illage Code shall be deemed and understood to refer to the
illage Clerk.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take.
ffect upon itspassage and publication.
