Ordinance No. 70-7
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE
RELATING TO THE DUTIES OF THE VILLAGE
MANAGER AND THE VILLAGE CLERK
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment of Village Code. Chapter V of the
illage Code of the Vi age of Plymouthis here y amended in the
allowing respects:
(a) Subsection (h) of Section 3.06 of said
Chapter V shall be amended by deleting the
whole thereof and inserting the following:
"(h) The Fire Chief or the Village
Manager may, from time to time, declare an emergency
and prohibit fires of any kind without special
permit from the council."
(b) Subsection (e) of Section 4.01 of said
Chapter V shall be amended by deleting the
whole thereof and inserting the following:
"(e) For the destruction of diseased,
injured or dangerous animals, birds or reptiles
by persons specifically authorized to do so by
the Village Manager."
(c) Subsection (a) of Section 4.05 of said
Chapter V shall be amended by deleting the
whole thereof and inserting the following:
"(a) The Clrrk may grant a permit to any
person upon application for the use of firearms
for the destruction of diseased, injured or
dangerous animals, birds or reptiles, but no
such permit shall be valid for longer than
twenty-four (24) hours. No fee shall be charged
for such a permit."
(d) Subsection (b) of Section 4.05 of said
Chapter V shall be amended by deleting the
whole thereof and inserting the following:
"(b) A permit may also be issued by the
Clerk to any person for use on the property for
whom the permit is granted for the use of
firearms for the destruction of crows, rabbits,
skunks, or similar small animals or birds which
are a nuisance or which are causing damage or
injury to trees or crops. Such permit shall be
valid until December 31 of the year in which
granted and shall be issued upon tha payment of
a fee of $2.00."

Ic Section 2. Reference to Clerk -Administrator. Any
!reference to the Village Clerk-Adminisirator is hapter V of the
Village Code shall be deemed and understood to refer to the
,Village Clerk.
