AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE
RELATING TO THE DUTIES OF THE VILLAGE
I' MANAGER AND THE VILLAGE CLERK
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN {
AS FOLLOWS: j
Section 1. Amendment of Village Code. Chapter III of
he Village Code of the Village of Plyaouthis hereby amended in
he following respects:
(a) Section 15.13 of said Chapter III shall be
amended by deleting the whole thereof and
substituting the following therefor:
"15.13. Inspection by Village. The
Manager may, at any reasonable time, designate
any village employee to inspect the licensed pre-
mises for the purpose of enforcing the provisions
of this section."
(b) Section 16.09 of said Chapter III shall be
amended by deleting the whole thereof and
substituting the following therefor:
1116.09. Permitsfor Deposit into Sewer
__Ssst�te�mm. No person shall deposit the contents
taken from any vault, privy, cesspool, septic
tank or private drain into any sanitary sewer
of the Village of Plymouth unless he shall have
first obtained a permit to doso from the Village
Clerk. Such permit may be issued by the Clerk
to any person licensed as a scavenger upon receipt
by -him of an application in writing as hereinafter
prescribed, upon payment of the fee hereinafter
specified and if the Clerk is satisfied that the
applicant has complied and will comply with all
provisions of this ordinance and all other
ordinances of the Village relating to the use
of its sewers."
(c) Subsection (e) of Section 16.10 of said Chapter III
shall be amended by deleting the whole thereof and
substituting the following therefor:
"(e) such further information as the
Clerk may request."
(d) Section 16.11 of said Chapter III shall be amended
by deleting the sentence following subseqtion (c)
thereof and substituting the following therefor:
"The Clerk's receipt for such permit fee
which includes the foregoing required
information shall constitute the permit."
(e) Section 17.04 of said Chapter III shq.l be
amended by deleting the whole thereof and.
substituting the following therefor:
"17.04. Administration. The Village Manager
shall assign response i ity or administration of
this section to a qualified inspector."
(f) Section 18.03 of said Chapter III shall be
amended by deleting the first sentence of said
section and substituting the following therefor:
"18.03. Application. The application for
a license hereunder s aTT^be made in writing,
and signed and verified by the applicant, on
forms to be provided by the Clerk."
Section 2. Reference to Clerk -Administrator. Any
cterence to the Village er - ministrator in Tiapter III of the
village Code shall be deemed and understood to refer to the
� Ulage Clerk.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
'feet upon its passage an pu ication.
