Amendment of Village_Gode,. Chapter II o` the Village Code is hereby amended by adding the following thereto as Section 14: "CHAPTER II. ADMINISTRATIVE CODE . . . Section 14, RETIREMENT OF VILLAGE EMPLOYEES. 14,01. 4ppliqation. This ordinanc6 shall apply-tball full-time employees of the Villageof Plymouth. 14.02. Age of ItetiYement. a. Village employees wbo have attained the age of sixty-five (65) years upon the effective date of this ordinance or who shall attain the vs of sixty-five (65) years before "anuary 31, 1970 shall retire by the 31st day of March 1970 b. After March 31,-1970 all other.' Village employees shall retire upon attaining their sixty-fifth`(&5) birthday, except that�nothinq herein contained shall prevent Villase employees from retiring at an earlier date. c. d, Whenever an employee shall have att the age of sixty-five (65)years and has earned at least nine (9) years of rights,,in P.E.R.A.. but not ten (10) years of such rights, he shall be permitted to work until he has earned ten (10_) years of such 'rights in P.EJU. Whenever an emplc.yee subject to this ordinance reaches age sixty-five (65) he may apply for continuous employ- ment as herein provided: I. Such employee shall make applica- tion to the Village Manager, and shall submit to Village Manager a satisfactory report of physical fitness by a physician approved or designated by the Village Manager. Such report shall show physical and mental adequacy of the employee to perform assigned work., 2. Such application shall contain any other information necessary or r required by the Village Manager on the employee applying to the merits of the matter." Section 2. Effective Bate.
