HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1969-17VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 69-17 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION b.01 OF CHAPTER I OF THE VILLAGE CODE RELATING TO PENALTIES FOR CODE VIOLATIONS AND PROSCRIBING PENALTIES AS AUTHORIZED BY CHAPTER 735, LAWS OF MINNESOTA, 1969 THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Repeal of Section 6.01 of Chapter I of Village Code. Section 6.01 of Chapter I of the Village Code is hereby amended by repealing said section and by substituting the following therefor: "CHAPTER I. GENERAL PROVISIONS . 6.01. Unless another penalty is expressly provided by this Code for any particular provision, section or chapter, any person violating any provision of this Code, or any rule or regulation adopted or issued in pursuance thereof, or any provision of any Code adopted herein by reference, shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not to exceed $300.00 or imprisonment in a village or county jail for a period for not to exceed 90 days, or both, but in either case the costs of prosecution may be added." Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. Adopted by the Village Council the 7th day of July, -1969.
