HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1968-12VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH I ORDINANCE NO. 68 -IV - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.02 OF CHAPTER VI OF THE VILLAGE CODE RELATING TO THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DO HEREBY RDAIN AS FOLLOWS: ection 1. Amendment of Village Code. Section 2.02 of Chapter VI f the Village Code is hereby amended by deleting said Section 2.02 d substituting the following therefor: "2.02. Amendments to Chapter 3 thereof Relating to Permits and Inspections. The Building Code of the Village, 'Uniform uilding Code, 1967 Edition, Volume 1' is hereby amended by triking the third sentence of Section 301 (d) thereof and sub- tituting the following therefor: ection 301.... (d) ... Each application for a building permit shall be accompanied by a certified land survey Indicating that permanent iron monuments are in place at each lot UddAir. Permanent iron monuments shall also be placed on each side lot a distance from the front lot line equivalent to the building set- back line. In the event the distance of the side line is greater than 30 feet stakes shall be planed on the front building line a distance not to exceed 30 feet from the building side lines. Such certified land survey shall also show thereon the following: (1) All existing buildings with dimensions of each building and reference dimensions from the lot lines to the nearest point of each building. (2) All proposed buildings with dimensions of each building and reference dimensions from the front and side lot lines to the nearest point of each building. (3) Elevations to sea level datum of the centerline of the nearest street at points where the side line of proposed buildings extended intersect said street. (4) Proposed elevations to sea level datum of the top of foundation and the lower most floor. (5) Proposed elevations to sea level datum of grade within five (51) feet of foundation on all sides of proposed buildings. i (6) Proposed slope or grade of ground for a distance of not leas than twenty-five (25") feet in front of and in back of foundation. (7) Elevation to sealevel of sanitary sewer main, if existing, at point of connection to said sewer, Engineer to determine elevation of inveris to nearest manholes up and down stream of proposed building to determine elevator. of sewer line.
