ORDINANCE NO. 68-2
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUILDING CODE AND
THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA TO INCORPOP.ATI BY REFERENCE THEREIN
THE UNIFORM BUILDIF" CODE, 1967 EDITION
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DO HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Amendment of Village Code. Chapter VI of the Vil
Code of the Village of Plymouth is hereby amended so that the
following sections of said Chapter VI will hereafter read as
follows:
"Sec. 1.01. There is hereby adopted and incor-
porated into the Building Code of the Village, by
reference, that certain published code prepared by
the International Conference of Building Officials
for general circulation and use, which is entitled
'Uniform Building Code 1967 Edition, Volume 1.1
Sec. 1.02. Official Copies. Three (3) copies
of said 'Uniform Building o e 67 Edition, Volume 1'
shall be marked as 'official copies' and filed for
reference and inspection in the office of the Village
Clerk.
Sec. 2.01. Amendment of Chapter 14 thereof
Relating to Minimum oor Requirements. ThTMUHITding
Code of the Village o ymou n orm Building
Code 1967 Edition, Volume 1') is hereby amended by
adding the following to Chapter 14 thereof:
'Sec. 1412...'
Sec. 2.03. Amendments to Sec. 303 thereof
Relating to Permit nes.Section a o e
Uniform u ng o e, 1967 Edition, Volume 1, is
amended by deleting Table No. 3-A - Building Permit
Fees, and substituting the following therefor:
Table No. 3-A - Building Permit Fees
Residential Construction
Total Valuation Fee
$250.00 or less No Fee
$251.00 to $15,000.00 $20.00
Each additional $1,000.00 or
fraction thereof over $15,000.00 $1.00
A minimum fee of $10.00 shall prevail for
residential remodeling or repairs.
Commercial and Industrial Construction.
No fee for work costing less than $250.00
4 $1.00 in fees far each 1,000 cubic feet of
pt space measured from 6 inches below the top
of the floor to the top of the roof. A
'i minimum fee of $25.00 shall be charged for
all new construction and new additions thereto.
A minimum fee of $10.00 shall be charged for
j all remodeling or alteration work.

Sec. 2.03 A. - Amendments to Sec. 3.06 (a) thereof

Certificate of Occupancy shall be issued.
Sec. 4.03...

Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect
upon its passage and publication.
Adopted by the Village Council the 5th day of
February , 1968.
