HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1967-17VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 67-17 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, BY ADDING THERETO THE CLASSIFICATION OF "B-1" LIMITED BUSINESS DISTRICT THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 - Amendment of Zoning Ordinance. The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota adopted November 9, 1949 and readopted August 2, 1955 is hereby amended to add the following sections thereto as Section 12B. Section 2 - Establishment of Zoning Classification for B-1 Limited Business District. 2.01 There is hereby established as a zoning classification within the Village of Plymouth the category to be known as B-1 Limited Business District. 2.02 The B-1 Limited Business District is intended to provide a district which is related to and may reasonably adjoin high density or other resi- dential districts for the location and development of administrative office buildings and related office uses which are subject to more restrictive controls. The office uses allowed in this district are those in which there is limited contact with the public and no exterior display or selling of merchandise to the general public. Section 3 - Permitted Uses. 3.01 Within a B-1 Limited Business District, no building or land shall be used except for one or more of the following uses. 1. Medical offices and clinics. 2. Offices for administrative, executive, professional, research or similar organization, and laboratories having only limited contact with the general public. Where these uses are permitted, no merchandise or merchandising services are peruitted to be sold on the premises.
