ORDINANCE NO. 66-18
An Ordinance Regulating the Sale
and Possession of Codeine
The, Village Counci: of the Vil-
lage of Plymouth Does Hereby
Ordain as Follows-
Section 1. The sale and posqn-
sion of codeine shall be regulated
as follows:
1.01 No person shall adminis-
ter, dispense, sell, barter, ex-
change or offer for sale, give
away, distribute, deliver, or sup-
ply in any manner, when he
knows or can by reasonable dilf-
gence ascertain, that such admin-
istering, dispensing, selling, bar-
tering, exchanging or offering for
sale, give away, distribute, de-
liver, supply, or in any manner
provide codeine or any of its salts
to the perrun to whom or for
whose use .ouch prepsra*ion is ad-
ministered, dttspensed, sold, bar-
tered, exchanged or offered for
sale except pursuant to a lawiul
prescription issued by a practi-
tioner dul-,- licensed under the
laws of ti.e State of Minnesota.
1.02 )No person shall purchase
or have in his possession codeine
or any of its salts, except pur-
suant to a lawful prescription
issued by a practitioner duly
licensed under the laws of the
State of Minneso'n.
Section L Penalty.
2.01 Ary person violating the
provisions of this ordinance shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction shall be punished
by a fine of not more than one
hundred dollars or by imprison-
ment for not to exceed 80 days.
Section 3. Effective date.
3.01 This ordinance shall be
effective upon its passage and
publication.

THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DOFF HEREBY ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. The sale and possession of codeine shall be
regulated as follows:
1.01 No person shall administer, dispense, sell, barter,
exchange or offer for sale, give away, distribute, deliver, or
supply in any manner, when he knows or can by reasorable diligence
ascertain, that such administering, dispensing, selling, bartering,
exchataging or offering for sale, give away, distribute, deliver,
supply, or in &V manner provide codeine or any of its salts to the
person to whom or for whose use such preparation is administered,
dispensed, sold, bartered, exchsnged.or offered for sales except
pursuant to a lawful prescription issued by a practitioner duly
licensed under the laws of the State of Minnesota.
1.02 No person shall purchase or have in his possession

Section 2. Penalty.
