ORDINANCE NO. W-16
An Ordinance Probibiting the In-
halhv. Breathiao at Drinking
of Certain substances comm -
1! Known as Glue and Regulat-
ing the Purchase. Sale and
Possession► Thereof
The Village Council of the Vil-
lage of Plymouth Does Hereby
Ordain as Follows:
Section 1. The inhaling, breath-
ing, or drinking of certain sub-
stances hereinafter defined and
commonly known as glue is pro-
hibited, and the purchase, sale,
and possession thereof are regu-
lated as follows:
1.01 No person shall inhale,
breathe or drink, or be or become
intoxicated by reason of inhaling,
breathing, or drinking any sub-
stance commonly known as glue,
adhesive, cement, mucilage, dope,
solvents, lacquer, drugs, fingernail
polish and lacquer, nail polish re-
mover, or thinners for the above
named substances, nor any sub-
stance containing tolvol hexane,
trichloroethylene, acetone, tolu-
ene. ethyl acetate, methyl ethel
ketone, trichoroathane, isopropa-
nol, methyl isobutyl ketone. me-
thyl cellosolve acetate, cyclohexa-
nm% or any other substance
which contains ketones, alde-
hydes, organic acetates, ether,
chlorinated hydrocarbons, or any
other similar ingredient which re-
leases toxic vapors for the pur-
pose of inducing symptoms of in-
toxication, elation, excitement,
confusion, dizziness, paralysis, ir-
rational behavior, or in any man-
ner change, distort or disturb the
balance, coordination or the audio,
visual, or mental processes.
1.02 No person shall, for the
purpose of violating or aiding
another to violate any provision
of this ordinance, intentionally
possess, buy, sell, transfer posses-
sion, or receive possession of any
glue containing the intoxicating
substances defined in Section.
1.03 Retail eztablishments sell-
ing glue containing the intoxicat-
ing substances defined in Section
1 shall not sell such glue from a
self-service display.
Section L Penalty
2.01 Any person violating the
provisions of this ordinance shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction shall be punished
by a fine of not more than one
hundred dollars or by imprison-
ment for not to exceed 00 days.
Section 3. Effective Date
3.01 This ordinance shall be-
come effective upon its passage
and publication.

AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The inhaling, breathing, or drinking of certain
substances hereinafter defined and commonly known as glue is
prohibited, and the purchase, sale, and possession thereof are
regulated as follows:
1.01 No person shall inhale, breathe or drink, or be
or become intoxicated by reason of inhaling, breathing,
or drinking any substance commonly known as glue,
adhesive, cement, mucilage, dope, solvents, lacquer, drugs,
fingernail polish and lacquer, nail polish remover, or
thinners for the above named substances, nor any substance
containing toluol, hexane, trichloroetbylens, acetone,
toluene, ethyl acetate, methyl ethel ketone, trichoroathane,
isopropanol, methylisobutyl ketone, methyl cellosolvs
acetate, cyclohexanone, or any other substance vhich.containe

kydrocarbons, or any other similar, ingredient wch releases

substances defined in Section.

intoxicating -substances defined in Section 1 shall not
