VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
ORDINANCE x#65-20
An Ordinance Amending Ordi-
nance No. 53-1 of the Village
of Plymouth. Minnesota, Relat-
ing to the Discharge of Fire-
arms in Certain Areas Within
the Limits of the Village.
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS:
Section 1. Amendment of Ordi-
nance.
1.01—Section 4 of Oidinance
No. 53-1 is hereby amended by
deleting all of said Section 4 and
substituting the followirg there-
for:
"Section 4. That it shall be
unlawful to discharge any wea-
pon, sho`;un or firearm in that
part of the Village of Plym-
outh lying South of County
Road #9 as extended to the
Western Boundary of the Vil-
lage, subject, however, to the
provisions of Section 4 (A)
herein."
1.02—Section 4 of Ordinance
No. 53-1 of the Village of Plym-
outh is further amended by add-
ing the following thereto as Sec-
tion 4 (A).
"Section 4 (A). Notwithstand-
ing any other provision of this
ordinance it shall be unlawful
to discharge any weapon, any
shotgun or firearm in any area
of the village where the dis-
charge of such weapons, shot-
guns or firearms would other-
wise be permissible, within 600
feet of any dwelling, house,
commercial or industrial struc-
ture."
Section 2. Effective Date.
This ordinance shall be effec-
tive upon its passage and publi-
cation.
Adopted by the Village Coun-
cil the 18th day of October, 1965.
