THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS:
Section 1. Amendment of Ordi-
nance.
1.01 --Ordinance No. 58 of the
Village of Plymouth, Mir. , i . 7Ata,
F(131 tcti Jt:.ie 9, 11;W, as amend-
ed, is hereby further amended by
deleting Section 21 thereof and
substituting the following there-
for:
"Section 21. Sale of Lads. No
person shall sell, or offer for
sale, any lot, parcel, tract of
land, within a proposed plat,
or within an area to be sub-
divided, until the same has re-
ceived final approval, and all
construction within the subdi-
vided area has been completed
and approved, or a bond guar-
anteeing the completion there-
of, has been filed with the vil-
lage, and approved by the vil-
lage council. Provided, how-
ever, that within any proposed
subdivision with respect to
which the village council has
given prelftninary approval, the
owner and developer thereof
may construct a home or homes
for display purposes only un-
der the following conditions:
A. The development contract
entered into between the vil-
lage and the owner and devel-
oper must require that said
owner and deveoper is to in-
stall lateral s,.,nitary sewers
and public water facilities at
his own expense.
B. That said owner or subdi-
vider furnish a bond, with cor-
porate surety, acceptable to the
village, in an amount equiva-
lent to the estimated cost to the
village of completing the in-
stallation of such lateral sani-
tary sewers and public water
facilities in accordance with
the provisions of this c,, dinance
and in accordance with speci-
fications of the village.
C. Such display homes shall not
be connected to sewer and wa-
ter facilities during such time
as they are used for display
purposes and no certificate of
occupancy shall be issued with
respect to such display homes
until the satisfactory comple-
tion of the installation of lat-
eral sanitary sewer and public
water facilities to serve said
properties and until said prop-
erties are actually connected to
said sewer and water systems.
D. The village council shall de-
termine, to its sole discretion,
the number of such display
homes that may be erected un-
der such conditions within any
such subdivision. In determin-
ing the number to be permitted
within any subdivision, the vil-
lage council shall have in mind
the size of the subdivision and
the number of such homes
necessary for display pur-
poses Rp
Section 2. ENective Date.
This ordinance shall be effec-
tive upon its passage and publi-
cation.
Adopted by the Village Coun-
cil the 18th day of October, 1965.
