RESPECT TO USE OF
VILLAGE SEWEM
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS:
Section I—Permits.
1.01—Apnlications for permits
to connect to sewers must be
made and filed with the Building
Inspector and must state the lo-
cation and description of the
Property to be connected and the
name of the owner and the num-
ber of buildings to be connected
and how occupied. Applications
for permiw must be accompanied
by a sketch plan showing the lo-
cation of the proposed work and
the manner in which it Is to be
done. The Building Inspector
shall inspect the plan and if he
finds that the work provided for
does not conform to the provisions
of this or other Village ordi-
nances, or the rules and regula-
tions of the Village relating to
such work, a permit shall not
be issued for its construction. The
fee for the permit shall accom-
pany the application.
1.02—No connection shall be
made with the Village newer sys-
tem without a permit which shall
be issued by the Building Inspec-
tor upon application by a li-
censed plumber, if he shall find
such connection to be necessary
and proper.
1.03—Permits shall describe the
location and size of each connec-
tion, and size must not be de-
parted from in any degree, ex-
cept on the written consent made
on said permit by the Building
Inspector.
Section 2—Connection Fees and
Charges.
2.01—The fee for a permit for
connection to a Village sewer
shall be $15.00 for each connec-
tion. In addition thereto, before
any permit shall be issued, there
shall be paid any sum required
under subsequent sections of this
ordinance.
2.02 ---No permit shall be issued
to tap or connect with any sewer
of the Village of Plymouth either
directly or indirectly from any lot
or tract of land unless the Vil-
lage Clerk shall have certified.,
(1) That such lot or tract of
land to be served by such con-
nection or tap has been amm ed
for the cost of construction of the
sewer with which the connection
is made, or
(2) If no assessment has been
levied for such construction coat,
that proceedings for levying such
assessment have been or will bc!
comeneed in due course, or
(3) If no assessment has been
levied and no assessment proceed-
ings will be completed in due
course, but a sum equal to the
portion of the cost of constructing
said sewer which would be as-
sessable against said lot or tract
has been paid to the Village of
Plymouth.
Section 3—Effective Dab.
3.01—This ordinance shall be-
come effective upon its passage
and publication.
