(Minimum Floor Areas for Group I Occupancy) T HE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOL- LOWS - Section I_ Amendment of Chap- ter 14. The building code of the VU - 1 a g e of Plymouth ("Uniform Building Code, 1961 Edition, Vol- ume I") as amended i- hereby further amended by deleting sub- paragraph (b) o. Section 1410 thereof and subst.futing the fol- lowing therefor: "Section 1410. The following minimum floor areas for Group 1 occupancy shall be required: ... (b) . The minimum habit- able floor area of a two story (or the projected area of a multiple level "split level") single family dwelling shall be 860 square feet for the minimum floor area. The second story of a two story dwell- ing must contain a habitable area equal to 5096 or more of the main floor area to be classified as a two story dwelling. The partial two story area of the multiple level "split level" dwelling must contain a habitable area equiva- lent to or greater than the min- imum area of two bedrooms. The minimum habitable floor area of a single family dwelling shall be 800 square feet for the main floor area where the second floor area is equal to or exceeds the first floor area." Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become ef- fective upon its passage and pub- lication. Adopted by the Village Council this 11th day of December, 1962. Sgnd.— ATTEST: Thos. J. Keefe, Mayor H. T.
