The Village Council of the Vil-
lage of Plymouth Do Hereby
Ordain As Follows:
Section 1. Amendment of Ex-
isting Ordinance.
Ordinance No. 58 of the Village
of Plymouth adopted June 3, 1958
is hereby amended by adding the
following Sections thereto:
"Section 26. Division and Con-
solidation of Individual Lob of
Recorded Plats Anlhorised.
Section 26.01 ---For purposes of
conveying or of securing building
permits, Sections 1 through 22 of
Ordinance No. 58, as amended,
shall not apply to the division of
one or more lots into one or more
separately described tracts, which
lots at the time either of an ap-
plication for a building permit or
a conveyance have been platted
into lots and blocks and designat-
ed as such in a subdivision plat
on file and of record in the office
of the Register of Deeds or Reg-
istrar of Titles of Hennepin Coun-
ty, nor shall said sectioi,s of said
Ordinance apply to the consolida-
tion of two or more such platted
lots or parts thereof into oaie or
more tracts, upon compliance
with the following conditions:
(1) The owner or owners of
such platted lot or lots to be so
divided, shall Ale in the office of
the Building Inspector of the
Village an application for such
division or consolidation to-
gether with a proposed survey
plat or registered land survey
of the lot or lots to be divided
or consolidated. Such plat or
survey shall show the dimen-
sions of said lots as measured
upon the recorded plat, and also
the proposed division or con-
solidation thereof. A written
description of the separately
described tract or tracts which
will result from the proposed
division or consolidation shall
be filed with such plat or sur-
vey. Such plat or survey shall
also show the location of all

then existing and all
proposed structures to be built
upon the lot or lots to be divid-
ed or consolidated.
(2) Upon receipt by the
Building Inspector of the appli-
cation and plat or a,rvey as
required In (1) above, aL4 upon
the payment by the app:icant
to the Village of a fee of $10.00,
the Building Inspector shall
make a physical inspection of
the lot or lots proposed to be
divided or consolidated.
Section 26.02 — Following his
physical inspection of the lot or
lots to be divided or consolidated,
the Building Inspector shall cause
the application to be placed upon
the agenda of the Village Council
for the nes . regular meeting o2
the council following such i=pec-
tion. The Building Inspector shall
transmit to the Village Council
the application and all materials
related thereto together with his
recommendations with respect to
such application.
Section 26.03 --No building per-
mit shall be issued in the event
any owner or owners shall fail or
be unable to comply with Section
26.01 of this Ordinance in making
a division or consolidation of
lands Included in recorded plats.
In all instances where lands have
not been platted in lots and
blocks as mentioned in Section
26.01 of this Ordinance, all such
property and the division or con-
solidation thereof shall be subject
to the provisions of Sections 1
through 22 of this Ordinance."
Section 2. >Ggective Dale.
This Ordinance shall take effect
upon its passage and publication.
