SUBJECT: FINANCIAL CONSULTANT PROPOSALS
Attached for your information are copies of the three proposals
we have received from fiscal consultants. These proposals are
from Ehlers & Associates, Evenson Dodge, and Springsted, the
three firms invited to make proposals.
Councilmembers, in our view, would benefit by hearing brief
presentations from each of these three proposers. I propose the
Council schedule a study meeting to allow each of the firms to
make a brief presentation to you, prior to your formally
considering selecting one of the firms. I suggest the Council
consider meeting early on Monday, July 1. If the Council were to
meet in a study session at 5 p.m., we could schedule interviews
at 5:15, 5:45, and 6:15, and be completed prior to the 7 p.m.
Council meeting.
