A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE
NATURAL RESOURCES INCENTIVES FOR CRITICAL HABITAT
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
HENNEPIN COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FOR
THE 400 PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners approved funding in the
amount of $50,000 for projects which will reduce existing impervious surfaces and increase
infiltration through the implementation and use of porous pavement and/or reinforced turf
technology; and
WHEREAS, a Grant Agreement has been prepared by the Hennepin County Department of
Environmental Services in reference to The 400 Project; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvements will apply to current and fiiture total maximum
daily load (TMDL) requirements as set forth by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency; and
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Department of Environmental Services will reimburse
the City up to $50,000 per the terms of the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council hereby approves the Professional Services Agreement as presented; and
2. Authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.
