RESOLUTION No. 2013-244
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT
FOR THE JOINT FIBER/CONDUIT PROJECT, PLYMOUTH AND HENNEPIN COUNTY
PHASE II, CITY PROJECT NO. 13018
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Joint/Fiber Conduit Project
Plymouth and Hennepin County, Phase II, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to
law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears Castrejon, Inc. of Blaine, MN is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are herby
authorized
and directed to enter into contract for the bid with Castrejon, Inc. of Blaine, Minnesota in the
name of the City of Plymouth for the Joint/Fiber Conduit Project Plymouth and Hennepin
County according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on
file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $175,383.55.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the fiinding for the City's portion of the
project shall be from the General Fund ($85,000) and the County will reimburse the City for the
remaining costs.
