Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a. regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of
December __._1988. The following were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker and Zitur
The following members were absent: Councilmember Sisk
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION N0.88- 899
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the need to establish a Capital
Espenditures Reserve; and
WHEREAS, the Central Equipment Fund has funds available for establishing such
reserves; and
WHEREAS, this reserve should be established within the Building and Equipment
Reserve Furl; and
WHEREAS, the City Finance Director recommends the transfer of funds from the
Central Equipment Fund to the Building and Equipment Revolving Furl fer
establishing this reserve;
NOW, 023WM, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYI+14 M, MIN[ESUIR, that the Finance Director is hereby directed to transfer
$287,656.54 from the Central Equipment Fuad Account Wwter 602-602-965.00 to
the Building and EWipment Deserve Fund Account umber 205-000-501.00; and
FURI that the Finance Director establish the reserve for Capital
Experiiitures within the Building and Equipment Reserve Fund.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ricker and upon vote being taloen thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker
and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
