The following were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker and Zitur The following members were absent: Councilmember Sisk t*t Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.88-896 RE9CgMON FOR PUBLIC TEARING ON PRDPOSED ASSESSMTi' 1988 WEED ERADICATION AND DES'I'RU<TICN, RCILL 3 WHEREAS, by a resolution pas9ed by the Council on December 19; 1988 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for the total cost for the 1988 Weed Eradication and Destruction, Roll 3, on certain lands within the City as provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public Inspection; NOW, THERMW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYM7(Tlti, MINNESOTA: 1. A public hearing shall be held on the 23rd day of January, 1989 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymgxxth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such charges will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the smearing, and shall state in the notice the total amount of the assessment. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by rnunrilmPmher Ricker and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mavor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
