HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-892CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 19th day of December , 1988 The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker and Zitur The following members were absent: Councilmember Sisk Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-892 APPROVING LAWFUL GAMBLING EXEMPTION FOR WEST MEDICINE LAKE COMMUNITY CLUB WHEREAS, the City has received notice of a Lawful Gambling Exemption from West Medicine Lake Community Club for a raffle to be held March 17, 1989, and WHEREAS, the City has 30 days in which to specifically disallow such activity and notify the Charitable Gambling Control Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that a Lawful Gambling Exemption is hereby approved for the West Medicine Lake Community Club for an event on March 17, 1989, only. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
