Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 19th
day of December , 1988 The following members were
present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vaailiou, Ricker and Zitur
The following members were absent: Councilmember Sisk
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88-891A
APPROVING TAXI DRIVER LICENSES
WHEREAS, applications for Taxi Driver licenses have been received for
consideration by the City Council in accordance with Plymouth City Code, Chapter
1146; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has conducted investigations of the applicants
and finds no reason to deny the licenses requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that Taxi Driver licenses are hereby approved for a period
of January 1, 1989 through December 31, 1989 for the following individuals:
YELLOW TAXI SERVICE
Alden Turnidge
Robert Exner
Mark Adair
James Stoddard
Edwin Lue
Taher Ibrahim
TOWN TAXI
Samuel Gordon
Henry Bierbrauer
John Elkins
George Scott
Garry Bosch
AND FURTHER, that such approval is contingent upon receipt by the City of
required certificates of insurance no later than December 31, 1988.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou,
Ricker and Zitur The following
voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
